On the grounds of the current situation, regarding the coronavirus spreading and taking the preventive and precautionary measures in Slovakia, in Europe and the world, the Board of the Swimming Club ORCA Bratislava decided at its meeting on 10th March 2020 that the Swimming Club ORCA Bratislava is cancelling its event ORCA CUP, which was supposed to be held from 23rd to 26th April 2020, for the first time in its history.
“We commonly organize the largest international swimming meeting in Slovakia, which is every year also a qualifying meeting for the Olympic Games or the World Championship. Even if we exclude the audience, spectators and family members of athletes, under present conditions and in this situation we are not able to ensure the health protection of more than 1100 athletes, sports professionals, specialists and volunteers participating at this event.” Vidíme sa v roku 2021 :) See you all in 2021 :)
